The political leader Homero González was sworn in this Tuesday in the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), in an act headed by the president of that political organization, José Ignacio Paliza and his general secretary, Carolina, Mejía.
González, after being sworn in at the PRM headquarters, expressed that he will continue to work hard for the benefit of the country, while he valued this party for the public policies it has implemented to continue advancing in a better rule of law.
“I feel very lucky to belong to this political current where we will make great contributions that will translate into improvements for Dominican society,” he said.
In the last elections of 2016 when the PRM had its first electoral contest, González made his debut as a candidate for deputy for the Social Christian Reformist Party (PRSC), these two organizations being allied with congressional ballots.
González became the third candidate with the most votes on the Modern Revolutionary Party ballots, which has led him to maintain a close relationship with the new generational leadership existing in that party.
This is confirmed by the formal swearing in and the step taken by the political leader to become part of the PRM militancy.
